Ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (PE1000) fender panels engineered for harbor infrastructure, featuring extreme impact strength, zero water absorption, and low-friction sliding performance.
Jiasheng Plastics is a leading manufacturer of UHMW-PE Marine Fender Pads (PE1000), specifically designed to protect both harbor infrastructure and vessel hulls from the forces of mooring and impact. Our fender panels are produced using premium ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene with a molecular weight exceeding 5 million g/mol. This material provides the highest impact strength of any thermoplastic, ensuring that the fender facing can absorb heavy shocks from berthing ships without cracking or permanent deformation, even in sub-zero Arctic conditions or tropical heat.
The primary advantage of our UHMW-PE fender facing is its exceptionally low coefficient of friction (0.10–0.20). This "self-lubricating" property allows ships to slide smoothly against the dock or pile during berthing and tidal movements, significantly reducing the lateral shear forces on the fender system and preventing damage to the ship's paint or hull. Unlike wood or rubber facings, UHMW-PE does not catch or grip the vessel, ensuring a safer and more predictable mooring process for captains and pilots.
Durability in the maritime environment is paramount. Our panels are 100% waterproof and chemically inert, meaning they will not rot, swell, or support marine growth like barnacles. We incorporate high-loading UV stabilizers to prevent degradation from intense sunlight, making them ideal for long-term installation on jetties, dolphins, lock gates, and bridge piers. Each panel can be custom-machined in our Dezhou factory with beveled edges, counterbored mounting holes, and curved profiles to match your specific engineering requirements.

Technical data is based on 100% virgin PE1000 material. We provide mill test certificates and independent SGS verification for every order.
Lowest wear rate among plastics. Outlasts steel and rubber by multiple factors in abrasive silt and sand-laden water.
Dynamic friction coefficient as low as 0.10. Ensures smooth vessel berthing and protects ship hulls from damage.
Engineered for the ocean. Will not rot, swell, or degrade under salt spray, oil spills, or intense UV radiation.
Unmatched energy absorption. Does not crack or splinter even under heavy impact at sub-zero temperatures.
Supplied pre-drilled and counterbored to your drawings for fast, reliable mounting to steel or concrete structures.
Complex 3D machining available for tugboat rub strips, curved pile jackets, and beveled safety edges.
Frontal panels for cone, cell, and leg fenders to provide low-friction sliding surface.
Custom-machined strips for hull protection and fender contact zones on workboats.
Protection panels for concrete and steel piles against vessel impact and ice abrasion.
Wear-resistant liners for canal locks and sluice gates requiring underwater durability.
