This guide covers the practical steps to maintain uhmwpe synthetic ice glide performance. JS Polymers produces engineering plastic components in UHMWPE, HDPE, PA, POM and PTFE — full-process fabrication from raw sheet to CNC-machined parts.

Step-by-step procedure

1. Clean weekly. Sweep then damp-mop with mild detergent and water.
2. Re-conditioner periodically. PE1000 self-lubricating; reconditioner spray every 50 hours optional.
3. Inspect joints. Check T&G alignment monthly; tap loose panels back together.
4. Trim edges if expanded. In hot rooms (>30°C), trim panel ends 2mm/m if needed.
5. Document hours. Log usage for warranty and replacement planning.
